On Jupiter you wouldn't be able to discern the atmosphere from the surface, as Jupiter is really just a giant ball of gas that gets denser and denser as you approach it's red-hot core. In fact, Jupiter's interior is so intense that scientists speculate one layer is a vast sea of liquid metallic hydrogen, a substance so extreme it calls into question some of the most basic rules governing our natural sciences.

I highly doubt it's a place you'd want to visit.
